    It has been reported that the median turnover of Black business owners is just £25,000, which is significantly lower than the median turnover of White business owners, which is £35,000. Additionally, the median productivity of Black entrepreneurs' businesses is less than two-thirds of that of White entrepreneurs. Furthermore, only half of Black entrepreneurs can achieve their non-financial goals, compared to almost 70% of their White counterparts.*

    37% of Black female entrepreneurs did not make a profit last year, compared to just 16% of White male Entrepreneurs. Outcomes are worst for Black, Asian and Other Ethnic minority female entrepreneurs.

    One in six Black entrepreneurs decide to start a business after identifying a gap in the availability of products suited to them. Entrepreneurs with the lowest household incomes are twice as likely to say they had no other choice
