A new tax year is not just a financial milestone.
It is an invitation.
For many women, the 6th of April passes without ceremony. Another date in a calendar already crowded with responsibilities. But within it lies something worth pausing for: a natural reset point.
A moment where clarity about your finances can shape the next twelve months of your life.
Financial planning that feels like you is not about spreadsheets and sacrifice.
It is about alignment — ensuring that where your money goes reflects what you actually value.
Alignment - is the arrangement of items, parts or concepts into a straight line, parallel or in proper coordination with one another.
In other words, April is the time to put your plans into alignment, in proper coodination for the best.
Here are three questions worth sitting with this April:
1. Where am I now, honestly?
Not where you think you should be. Not compared to anyone else.
Simply: what is the current state of your finances — your income, your commitments, your savings, your protection? Awareness is the first act of financial self-leadership.
2. What do I want my money to do for me this year?
Financial freedom is not just about numbers. It is about choice, dignity and peace. It supports the life you want to live and the opportunities you want to pursue. What does that look like for you in the next twelve months?
3. What one habit could I strengthen?
Not overhaul. Not transform. One small, consistent habit that moves you closer to the financial life you want.
Could you set up a regular savings instruction. Implement a monthly review or is there a conversation you have been avoiding. Now is the time to have it, the new fiscal year is an opportunity for you to reset, take control and gain authority over your financial destiny.

Are you trying to go alone? Accountability and support go a long way, you only know what you know.
This year, I am working with a small number of women for 1:1 financial clarity sessions — a space to look honestly at where you are and map a path forward that feels both grounded and ambitious. If this speaks to you, I would love to hear from you. Please use the contact section to book a clarity session.
